Ways you can help

Better Together exists because of people that give of their time, treasure and talents. There are several ways you can partner with us so we can continue to serve our community and increase our impact.

Donate

We would not be able to operate without your generosity. Below are all the different ways you can partner financially with Better Together besides giving cash, such as real estate and gift cards.

  • We are in need of a 2,000 square foot building to house non-perishable food, clothing and furniture.

  • You can purchase and donate food cards from Grocery Outlet to be used by our clients, as well as from Walmart to provide for clothing and personal hygiene needs.

  • Provide a tank a gas or a gift card for fuel once a quarter to a client.

Volunteer

There are many practical ways that you can share your time and abilities to serve our community. We have a wide range of opportunities with varying time commitments.

  • By volunteering your time and expertise, you can help empower individuals to take control of their finances, build wealth, and achieve their goals. Plus, mentoring is a rewarding experience that allows you to give back to your community and develop new skills.

  • We receive donations from Franz Bakery that need picked up and delivered to clients. This is a fun, easy way to support those in need in our community.

  • Prayer matters! We send out a monthly email to update you on needs and to celebrate all that is happening. Sign up for our email list to stay up to date on all the latest news.

  • We partner with LIFE Church three times a year for Serve Day. The next Serve Day is happening on October 28th. Click here to sign up.

Goods & Services

A very meaningful way for you to help is by donating your skills and services to assist those in need. Whether you're a mechanic, accountant, plumber, or any other professional, your expertise could make a huge difference in someone's life. Below are a few practical needs we currently have.

  • From oil changes to air filters, we are looking for mechanics to donate their skills and expertise to assist individuals and families in need of basic vehicle repairs and maintenance.

  • A fresh haircut can boost someone's confidence and make them feel ready to take on the world. If you're a hair stylist or barber, consider donating your time and skills to make a positive impact in someone's life.

  • Every school year, families are looking to purchase supplies for their children. You can donate school supplies for the upcoming year so students can start their first day of class feeling confident and prepared.

  • Donate non-perishable food, basic hygiene items and new or gently used clothing. To donate, email office@bettertogetherww.com
